This composite deck was designed to seamlessly bridge the gap between the house and pool area, creating a practical and visually striking outdoor space. The level of precision required for this project was exceptional, with every single decking board individually measured and cut differently from the next. Each board was carefully scribed and cut on both ends to perfectly follow the existing walls and pathways, resulting in flawless lines and a truly high-end finish. The attention to detail throughout the installation has produced an outstanding result that not only enhances the functionality of the area but also transforms its overall appearance. The clients were thrilled with the final outcome.
To maximise sustainability and minimise waste, we repurposed the decking offcuts to build a custom storage box and bench seat that conceals the pool pumps and filtration equipment. This practical addition not only hides the less attractive pool infrastructure but also provides convenient storage for pool toys and accessories. By turning what would have been discarded material into a functional feature, we were able to add even more value to the project while reducing waste.
